Do your plans include a phone number for calls and texts?

Some RedEx plans are data-only; others include voice calls and SMS in addition to data (you'll see "Call" and "SMS" in the plan name, e.g. 20 GB, 15 Call, 50 SMS).

A few things to know about the number on voice + SMS plans:

• You get an international phone number that can make calls and send/receive SMS while you travel.

• It is not guaranteed to be a local number for the country on the plan — it is often an international number (for example a +33 number).

• We cannot guarantee delivery of third-party one-time codes (OTP) — bank, WhatsApp, etc. — to this number, as these are often blocked for travel/roaming numbers across the industry.

• Receiving SMS while roaming outside the plan's destination is not guaranteed.

If calls and texts are a nice extra alongside your data, these plans work well. If you have a strict requirement (a specific local number, or receiving OTP codes), please check with us before buying.
