Why does my eSIM show a different country's phone number or IP (e.g. France / +33)?

Travel eSIMs connect through international partner networks, so two things are normal and not a fault:

• Your data may show an IP address or network from another country (for example France or the UK) even while you're in your destination. Your data still works normally where you are — this is just how the roaming network routes traffic.

• On plans that include calls and SMS, the number you receive is an international number (it may start with +33 or another country code) — it is not a local number for your destination. It can make calls and send/receive SMS while you travel, but it is not a local destination number.

If you specifically need a local number for a particular country, please contact us before purchasing so we can tell you what's possible.
